This design was a bit more tricky at the beginning. Since I don't know Heidi in person, I would have to cross examine my mum to get an idea how she is thinking.
When I heard about Heidi, and what she is to have on her website, the goal of the site, I figured to keep it very clean and simple, no bright colors or loads of animated gifs since this was a site to be used in profesional work.

I ended up using grey color, since grey is a plesant color to look at, but still isnt "noisy". Yet I didnt want to make a dull, grey website for her. I experimented a bit with gradient tools in my graphics program, and you see the result.
Heidi later told me that she thought "WHAT?!?" when mum told her I was to go for grey, but she was very well pleased with the result in the end.

Maybe this is the simplest of the simple when it comes to designing, but this is something I have done for free for someone I don't even know. Still I find the design kinda good looking in its simplicity.
