This started out as a helping hand to a friend of mine that just didnt have the time to fiddle around with design and layout.
She told me she wanted something inspired by a japanese stone garden, in earth colors, and some bonsai tree. So I ended up with this suggestion to her.

The thoughts behind the layout and colors was to catch the colors of sand and earth; sandy yellow and dirt brow, without being dark and "depressive".
The bonsai tree is used as a weight to get balance in the picture, so the menu wouldnt make the website kinda tilt.
At first I had placed the bonsai tree up in the right corner, with the meny further down on the left side, but it gave me the impression of a tree dangeling around, so I decided to place it on the bottom line to give the impression of the tree being placed on a table or bench.
By her choise of inspiration, the japanese stone garden, I was thinking she aimed for something very simple and clean, no fuzz, no stuff without function, so I kinda stopped this here. I am not webmastering this page, since she is skilled herself, so the rest of the design and layout will probably be formed by her to fit her needs, this was mainly ment to be a start package.
