Herrasaurus
Herrasaur was a longmouthed theropod wich could grow longer
than a family car, and heavy as a pony. It livet around 228
million years ago in what is now called the low hills of Andes.
Herrasaurus was its time's larges predators, only smaller than
the landliving relatives of the crocodile, fex Saurosuchus.
Its prays would probably include Rhyncosaurus, Scaphonyx and
the small herbivore Pisanosaurus. When Herrasaurus was running
on its backlegs, it would easily keep up with the slower herbivores.

The first parts of the skeleton of Herrasaurus was discovered
by an Argentinian Goat herder in the 1960's, but only fragments
where known untill 1980's. Scientists then discovered an area
in the Moon Valley, a descent place in the low mountains of
Andes, an almost complete skeleton. That showd that Herrasaurus
had long, razor sharp teeth in a long scull with dubble henged
jaws that would help to get a good grip on the fighting prey.
The arms where short, but the hands where long, and the three
longest fingers had strong, hoocked cutting claws.
