Prestosuchus
Prestosuchus was large, chrocodile-lookalike dinosaurs, about
5 meters long. They lived in Brasil in late Trias. Many of
the chrocodile lookalike dinos where large landliving predators
called rauisuchies. They had long limbs and tall sculls with
long razorblade sharp teeth. Some where enormous and got to
be about 10 meters long. Prestosuchus on the other hand where
average size, as said about 5 meters long. It also had a pronounced
curve on the nose.

Similar rauisuchies lived in Europe, Argentina and other places.
Prestosuchus itself lived around Brasil.

Machaeroprosopus scull
The Rauisuchies' limbs where placed directly under the body.
That may have given them the possabillity to run faster. Their
limbs developed unlike the dinosaurs and their relatives. The
Dinosaurs' thie bones where turned inwards on the top, wich
made a straigt positure impossible, while the Rauisuchies'
did not have this disadvatage, and the thie would support the
hips directly from underneth.
All of the Rauisuchies belonged to a larger group calles Archosaurs,
along with Crocodiles, Pterosaurs and Dinosaurs. Prestosuchus prefered
open forrest as its habitat, probably living alone, feeding
on large herbivores like Dicynodonts, Cynodonts and Rhynchosaurs.
